Smooth the ALLEVYN ADHESIVE over the wound, removing the remaining backing paper. 8. Ensure the ALLEVYN ADHESIVE dressing is flat to the wound, free from creasing and has adhered all around the wound. 9. If the dressing requires repositioning, remove carefully according to removal instructions and repeat application as per application instructions. When should I replace ALLEVYN ADHESIVE? Fluid absorbed by the dressing will appear as a darker patch at the surface of the dressing. Inspect the dressing frequently to monitor the size of the darker patch.
