After self-checking a ear and probe apprear on the screen (refer to manual) with beeps, so you can start a new measurement. If error messages appear, it means the thermometer is not ready for measurement. To measure object temperature (refer to manual for image reference): 1. First eject the probe cover. 2. Aim the thermometer at the centre of the object you want to measure with a distance of 1 to 2 cm. 3.
