1. Remove the rear cover and pop in 2 AA batteries.
2. Choose from two comfortable tips.

3 Attach a new Braun lens filter.
4 Fit the probe snug into the ear canal
5 Push & release the Start button. A confirmation beep will sound when temperature has been taken.
6 Read the temperature
7 Remove from the ear canal and gently pull off the disposable lens filter.
8 Discard the used lend filter.
Always use the thermometer with an undamaged lend filter for each measurement to maintain accuracy and hygiene and reduce the risk of cross-contamination. Right ear and the left ear measurements can vary. Always take the temperature in the same ear.
The ear must be free of excess wax build up to take an accurate temperature.
Use the untreated ear if drops or other medications have been placed in the ear canal.Storage Instructions Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior, and if necessary to clean the probe tip, do so very gently with a cotton swab moistened with alcohol. 1. Select nose tip for the child based on nostril size.
2. Ensure the filter is in place and chamber is securely screwed together
3. Safely insert nose tip into child's nostril to create a seal.
4. Use mouthpiece to suck out mucus.
5. After use, dispose of filter.
6. Disassemble and clean in sink or dishwasher (except tube) top rack only.
7. Disassemble the tube and boil for 15mins.
8. Place new filter in filter holder and reassemble.
