Voltaren Pain Relief Gel 12 Hourly is a medicated product containing a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, or NSAID, in the form of an emulsion gel. The active ingredient (diclofenac) [in our gels] (delete 'in our gels') penetrates deep into the skin and provides pain relief for up to 12 hours, without a tablet.
It works differently from heat or cooling rubs, that work by heating or cooling the skin. The Emulgel technology used in Voltaren Pain Relief Gel 12 Hourly has an added permeation enhancer, which helps more active ingredient diclofenac to penetrate deeply through the skin and reach the site of the pain, inflammation, and swelling, where you need it.
Voltaren Pain Relief Gel 12 Hourly formula combines the qualities of a gel and a cream, that has an appealing smell, is easy to rub in and rapidly absorbed, and even provides a cooling and soothing effect when applied to the skin. On children under 12 years, If you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy, If you are allergic to diclofenac or other anti-inflammatory medicines. Ask a doctor before use if you are in the first 6 months of pregnancy, you are trying to become pregnant or breastfeeding. Stop use and see your doctor immediately if: You are experience an allergic reaction While using this product: - Unless a doctor or pharmacist has told you to, do not use this product with other medicines containing diclofenac, aspirin, other anti-inflammatory medicines, or with other medicines you are taking regularly - Unless a doctor has told you to, do not use this product if you have asthma - Do not exceed the recommended dose - Excessive use may be harmful - For external use only - Avoid contact with eyes. Contains isopropyl alcohol, propylene glycol and butylated hydroxytoluene as preservatives.
Ingredients Diclofenac diethylamine 23.2 mg/g

Direction Rub gently into the affected area 2 times daily (preferably morning and evening). Do not use for more than 2 weeks for acute soft tissue injuries and localised soft tissue rheumatism and not more than 3 weeks for mild osteoarthritis of the knees and fingers except on medical advice.
