Use before a surgical or invasive medical procedure where the skin is broken, to reduce the bacterial load on the skin before going to the hospital.
This helps to reduce the risk of bacteria entering the wound or surgical site during the procedure when the skin is cut or pierced.
May be recommended for use the day before or for several days leading up to surgery by your medical or healthcare provider.

Ingredients Chlorhexidine gluconate 4% w/v
Active Ingredients: Chlorhexidine gluconate 4% w/v
Direction Use undiluted. If using as a hand wash, wet hands. Apply MICROSHIELD 4 to the skin and rub gently over all the surfaces of the hands including the spaces between the fingers. Rinse well and dry hands.
For preoperative body washing, wet skin and apply MICROSHIELD 4 to a clean wash cloth or directly onto skin and work into a light lather all over the body, or a specific body part. Leave on skin for 1 minute, before thoroughly rinsing off.
