The Maxigesic® Cold & Flu/Sinus & Pain Kit combines the benefits of Maxigesic® tablets, which provide relief from pain and fever through its unique patented combination of paracetamol and ibuprofen, and Maxiclear® Nasal Spray, which provides relief of nasal congestion due to colds, influenza, sinusitis and allergic rhinitis.
Maxigesic® and Maxiclear® Nasal Spray can be used together to provide effective relief from the symptoms of cold & flu.
Suitable For: Maxigesic: for temporary relief of pain, including pain where inflammation is present, and the reduction of fever. Maxiclear: for temporary relief of nasal and sinus congestion due to colds, influenza, sinusitis and allergic rhinitis.
Boxed Contents: 12 tablets of Maxigesic and a 10 mL bottle of Maxiclear Nasal Spray
Warnings Maxigesic tablets - do not use:
- If you are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin, paracetamol or anti-inflammatory medicines
- If you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant
- In children under 12 years of age
- In the presence of a stomach ulcer or other stomach disorders, impaired kidney function or kidney failure.
Unless your doctor has told you to, do not take Maxigesic:
- With other medicines you are taking regularly
- If you have asthma
- If you are taking anticoagulant medication, medication for high blood pressure, diuretics, lithium, methotrexate or other medicines for pain relief
- If you are aged 65 years or older.
Maxiclear Nasal Spray:
- Do not use in children under 12 years of age
- Do not use for more than three days at a time unless advised by a doctor or pharmacist
- If congestion persists, consult your doctor or pharmacist
- Frequent or prolonged use may cause nasal congestion to recur or worsen
- Discard one month after opening
- Contains benzalkonium chloride as a preservative.
Do not exceed the maximum daily dose.
Keep out of reach of children.
Maxigesic tablets contain lactose.
Ingredients Maxigesic: paracetamol, ibuprofen, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, macrogol 4000, magnesium stearate, maize starch, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinised maize starch, purified talc, sodium citrate dihydrate, titanium dioxide150 mg.
Maxiclear: xylometazoline hydrochloride, benzalkonium chloride, dibasic sodium phosphate dodecahydrate, disodium edetate, monobasic sodium phosphate dihydrate, purified water, sodium chloride.
Maxigesic: paracetamol 500 mg and ibuprofen 150 mg
Maxiclear: xylometazoline hydrochloride 138 micrograms/spray

Direction Maxigesic tablets: Adults and Children 12 years and older: take 1-2 tablets with a glass of water, every 4-6 hours as required, up to a maximum of 8 tablets in 24 hours.
Maxiclear Nasal Spray: Adults and Children 12 years and older: 1 spray into each nostril, every 8-10 hours. Do not exceed 3 sprays into each nostril in 24 hours.
Do not exceed the maximum daily dosage.
The pump on the Maxiclear Nasal Spray should be primed prior to first use or if it has not been used for 7 days or longer. Refer to the Maxiclear Nasal Spray carton before use, and for full priming, spraying and cleaning instructions.
