Ingredients
These dressings consist of a fine mesh fabric or gauze that has been impregnated with a soft paraffin or petroleum jelly. They are designed to be sterile and non-adherent, making them suitable for various types of wounds and burns.
Direction
Gently place the Jelonet dressing over the wound, ensuring it covers the entire area. Its soft white paraffin impregnation on a leno weave helps to keep the wound moist. 2. As Jelonet is a primary contact layer, ensure you use a secondary dressing to secure it in place and to absorb any excess exudate.
