JELONET Paraffin Gauze Dressing is a sterile dressing made from open weave gauze. It is a conformable(1) burn dressing, which is designed to soothe and protect the wound(2).

Cross-contamination can occur and the therapy may be ineective. Direction

Step 1: Wash hands before and after treating the wound.
Step 2: Gently clean and dry the wound and surrounding skin.
Step 3: Remove dressing from pouch.
Step 4: Remove and dispose of both backing papers from the dressing, taking care to handle the dressing by the edges only. Note: Excess jelly will remain on the backing papers.
Step 5: Gently place the dressing over the wound in a single layer.
Step 6: If necessary cover the dressing with an absorbent secondary dressing.
Step 7: Secure the dressing(s) with a bandage or tape.
