Dressings have a triple-layered
construction which combines an
absorbent hydrocellular pad
sandwiched between a
perforated silicone gel adhesive
wound contact layer and a highly
permeable waterproof top film.

Warnings Do not use ALLEVYN GENTLE
BORDER LITE Dressings with
oxidising agents such as
hypochlorite solutions (e.g.
EUSOL) or hydrogen peroxide, as
these can break down the
absorbent polyurethane
component of the dressing. If
reddening or sensitisation occur
discontinue use and consult a
healthcare professional.
Do not use the dressings to
secure other medical devices to
the patient, due to the gentle
adhesive used.
ALLEVYN GENTLE BORDER LITE
Dressings should not be used for
pressure injury prevention
unrelated to medical devices.
Care should be taken when using
the dressings under medical
devices near the nose and mouth,
where moisture can build up and affect adherence,
dressing movement.

Dressings are single-use only and
should not be re-used as
cross-contamination or infection
may occur and the dressing may be ineffective.
