Are there any requirements for purchasing pharmacist-only medicines?
Yes, there are a few important steps in place to ensure the safe supply of pharmacist-only medicines.
At cart, you’ll be asked to complete a short questionnaire. This helps us determine whether the selected medication is appropriate for you.
Once your order is placed, one of our pharmacists will contact you via the phone number provided to conduct a brief consultation, ensuring regulatory requirements are met before your order is dispatched.
If the pharmacist determines that the medication is not suitable, your order will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued.
Do I require a prescription to purchase a pharmacist-only medicine?
No, you don’t need a prescription to purchase pharmacist-only medications.
Do purchase limits apply to pharmacist-only medications?
Only one unit of pharmacist-only medicine will be supplied per transaction.
How long does it take for my order to be dispatched
Typically, following your consultation with our pharmacist, your order will be dispatched within 1–2 business days. If you’d like to speak directly with a pharmacist, please call us on (03) 9562 0388.
What happens if there’s an issue with my order?
Our friendly team will reach out if there are any discrepancies with your order. We generally do not cancel orders unless one of the following occurs, or if:
- Our pharmacists are unable to reach you to conduct a consultation and have made repeated efforts to reach you
- You have declined the required consultation with our pharmacist
- The provided information conflicts with the information shared
- Multiple orders placed with similar names and addresses
- Your postal address is a P.O. Box, or your address is outside of Australia
- We suspect the order may be fraudulent or not placed in good faith
Can someone else purchase a Pharmacist Only medication on my behalf?
No, the purchased product must be intended for the purchaser only.
How will my medicine be shipped?
Your order will be shipped via one of our couriers. Please note that all pharmacist-only medicines require a signature upon delivery and cannot be sent to P.O. box addresses.
Can I return only my Pharmacist Only medications?
Due to the nature of pharmacist-only medications, we are unable to process refunds for change-of-mind requests once the order has been delivered.
