For blisters take extra care when removing the dressing, as the top layer of the skin on the blister is very fragile. This layer of skin may come off if the dressing has not been left in place very long. During the body’s normal healing process, unnecessary material is removed from the wound which will make the wound appear larger after the first few dressing changes. If the wound continues to get larger after the first few dressing changes, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. Should any signs of reddening, inflammation, excess tissue, skin breakdown or allergic reactions appear, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. Product should not be re-used. Cross-contamination can occur and the therapy may not work. Once opened, do not retain unused dressing for application at a later date.
