Control and symptomatic treatment of chronic diarrhoea.Reference: product labelSuitable For: For adults and children 12 years and olderBoxed Contents: 20 CapsulesSize: 20 capsules Warnings Do not give to children under 12 years of age Do not use beyond 48 hours or in pregnancy or breastfeeding except on medical advice If you have fever, severe stomach pain, bloody diarrhoea or an ongoing condition affecting the bowel, consult a doctor before taking this medicine If the condition persists after two days of treatment, seek medical advice as soon as possible Do not take this product if a rash or other allergic reaction to loperamide hydrochloride has occured previously, or if constipation should be avoided Contains sugars (as lactose) and sulfites Ingredients loperamide Hydrochloride 2mgContains: loperamide 2mg Active Ingredients: loperamide Hydrochloride 2mg Direction For adults and children over 12 years: Initially 2 capsules, then 1 capsule after each loose bowel motion as needed. Do not exceed 8 capsules per day. Drink plenty of fluids as fluid and electrolyte depletion may occur with diarrhoea. If dehydration is suspected seek medical attention.
