The active ingredient of Diareze Tablets is Loperamide hydrchloride, an antimotility agent that works by decreasing the activity of the muscles in the intestinal wall. This increases the amount of time substances stay in the intestine and allows more water to be absorbed out of the faecal matter. As a result, the stools are less watery. Size: 20 Tablets Warnings Contains lactose. If you have a fever or if you see blood in your faeces, you should consult a doctor before using Diareze. As with most medicine, do not use in pregnancy or lactation except on a doctor's advice.
