Description Our Milk Wash is one of our most popular products. We combine small amounts of 5 different natural cleaners as this can be gentler on skin than one concentrated cleanser. We chose natural cleansers that wash well without drying out the skin. The foaming action isn’t quite as intense as it would if we used a synthetic detergent like SLS (or other common culprits that end in –fate), but we’re happy to make this small trade-off to use more natural ingredients that are healthier for us and the environment. The cream needs to be stable, provide a good reflective film, be naturally preserved etc. All of these things took us 4 years of work to achieve. But it was worth it, because we were able to make something we’re proud of and happy to use on ourselves, our family and our loved ones.We use Zinc because it’s naturally derived, even if it makes the cream a bit thicker and a little harder to apply. Zinc Oxide acts like a reflective umbrella on the skin, reflecting UV rays away. It’s also suitable for all ages, from babies to adults, and even newborns. And also all skin types, even for the most sensitive.Our sunscreen suits people that are sensitive to sunscreen with UV filters, and want a Zinc-based sunscreen that is not greasy. It’s also for people who like to know what’s in their sunscreen.For our Sunscreen, we did an SPF testing performed for this product, as well as Broad Spectrum testing. We also did a voluntary follow-up test on a 18-month-old batch, and preliminary waterproof testing – while the test results showed our sunscreen to be 40 mins waterproof, we recommend always reapplying any sunscreen after swimming. 2. Lashes: Take two eye protection papers and apply Petroleum Jelly on one side of the paper. Place and press the papers underneath the eyes and adhere to the skin as close as possible to the bottom lashes. Brows: Apply Petroleum Jelly with a cotton bud around the brow to protect the skin from coming in contact with the dye.
3. Squeeze a 2.5cm strip of the colour cream into the mixing cup. Add ten drops of the developer liquid and mix together using the white wand provided.
LASHES: 4. Apply the dye using the white wand or spoolie in the same manner as applying mascara. 5. Leave the dye to develop for ten minutes. 6. Remove the remaining dye by closing eyes and wiping gently with a damp cotton pad.
BROWS: 4. Using the white wand or spoolie apply the dye mixture to the brows using an upward motion brushing on the cream in the same direction as the hair growth. 5. Leave on for three to ten minutes to develop, depending on preferred depth of colour. 6. Gently remove the dye with a damp cotton pad.
