APOHEALTH Cold Sore Cream is for treatment of cold sores. The first symptoms of cold sores include tingling, itching and a burning sensation. This cream can be applied at the first sign of a tingling sensation.
Aciclovir 5% w/w
At the first sign of a tingle, apply a small amount 5 times daily for 5 to 7 days to the affected site. This medicine should be used by one individual only. Safety sealed. Do not use if the sealed nozzle is punctured. IMPORTANT: Wash hands before use and after touching cold sores. Do not share your towel. Avoid kissing.

Treating A Cold Sore

Cold sores are a common viral infection caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV). The virus is highly contagious and can be transmitted through close personal contact, such as kissing or sharing utensils. Once infected, the virus may remain dormant in the body and reactivate, causing the characteristic painful sores.
