Headache or Migraine?
HEADACHE OR MIGRAINE?
By Irene Vergos – Healthcare Pharmacist at Direct Chemist Outlet
Although less common than headaches, about 20% Australians will suffer from a migraine at some stage in their lives. Typically, migraines can be characterised by one-sided, moderate to severe throbbing or pulsating pain in the head, often aggravated by movement (i.e. walking, going up stairs).
Knowing how to prevent migraines can often be the first step in managing them. Speak to your DCO Pharmacist for further information and make an appointment to see your GP if your headaches and/or migraines start to affect your daily life.
